THE IMPACTO PROJECT is dedicated to the empowerment of Latin American youths living in rural areas through hands-on training in photography, filmmaking, and digital media to develop critical thinking, team work and communication skills as tools for sustainable development, economic growth, and archival of their native cultures.

IMPACTO PROJECT aims to bridge the past with the future by exposing Latin American youths in rural communities to visual arts and digital media and empowering a new generation of young people motivated to celebrate their cultural richness and invest in the economic potential that lies within their communities.
THE IMPACTO PROJECT works toward the implementation of social entrepreneurship in rural communities by giving young people artistic, communication and problem-solving skills to create sustainable businesses, especially in places impacted by a strong tourist economy and rapid development.
THE IMPACTO PROJECT believes that youth can be leaders in archiving and conserving their own cultures through their exposure to visual arts resulting in the creation of a valuable body of work to share with the rest of the world.
THE IMPACTO PROJECT is committed to ensuring that Latin American youth in at risk-communities, which are those experiencing rapid developments, have the option to sustainable development within their communities.
